Lincoln Electric Mexicana earns TS-16949 certification
Lincoln Electric, Cleveland, has announced that the Torreon manufacturing operations of Lincoln Electric Mexicana S.A. de C.V. has earned ISO/TS-16949 certification, applicable to the design and manufacture of welding consumables.
In general, the technical specification applies to the design, development, production, and installation/servicing of automotive-related products. The certification enables Lincoln Electric Mexicana to mesh its quality systems with those of its automotive customers and suppliers.
