Techalloy appoints plant, quality control managers

Techalloy Welding Products has promoted Dave Woike as plant manager and appointed Perry Canning as quality control manager of its Baltimore facility.

Woike joined the company in 1997, and served as manager of quality assurance and technical service until his promotion to plant manager. His experience spans more than 25 years, primarily in quality assurance for companies active in both primary metals and in metal fabricating machinery.

Woike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Central Connecticut State University and a Masters degree in metallurgical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Canning's experience with Techalloy spans 27 years and includes positions in the company's Production, Sales, and Quality Control departments. He has been a member of the American Welding Society for 24 years.

Canning is a graduate of Towson University with a liberal arts degree and an emphasis in secondary school education and American studies.
