De-Sta-Co appoints president

De-Sta-Co, a manufacturer of positioning and holding equipment in Auburn Hills, Mich., has appointed Mats Ceder as president. He succeeds John Podczerwinski, who announced his retirement after leading the company for the past three years.

Ceder comes to the company from Genesis Attachments, a designer and manufacturer of attachments for the demolition and scrap-processing industries, where he served as vice president and general manager since 2009. Genesis formerly was a business unit within Paladin, a former Dover operating company. De-Sta-Co is a Dover Company, organized under the Engineered Systems segment.

Before joining Paladin, Ceder held roles of increasing leadership responsibility at Parker Hannifin in business unit management and global sales and marketing. He earned a degree in electronics engineering in Sweden.
