De-Sta-Co appoints president of automation

De-Sta-Co, Auburn Hills, Mich., has promoted Leo McAuliffe to president of automation. McAuliffe is responsible for managing the company's global automation platform, which includes operations in Monroe, Conn.; and Wheeling, Ill.; the North American sales force; the corporate marketing department; and De-Sta-Co Brazil.

McAuliffe served previously as the company's director of business development for automation in Europe. Before joining De-Sta-Co, he was managing director of RPA Process Technologies. He also has worked for Ingersoll-Rand, Parker Hannifin, and Danfoss.

McAuliffe has an M.B.A. from Manchester Business School and Indiana University School of Business; a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Trinity College; and a postgraduate diploma in marketing.

De-Sta-Co designs and manufactures clamping, gripping, indexing, transfer, and robotic tooling products for workplace and automation applications.
