DaimlerChrysler, GM sign hybrid-vehicle pact
Reuters has reported that DaimlerChrysler AG and General Motors Corp. have finalized a deal to co-develop new hybrid vehicle technology. According to a GM spokesperson, the "binding and definitive agreement" took effect on Aug. 22.
In December, the automakers announced a tentative agreement to develop hybrids.
