Dana Corp. to access loan, keep operating

Auto parts manufacturer Dana Corp. today received court approval for full access to a $1.45 billion loan that will enable the company to continue to operate. The court also consented to let the company retain attorneys, bankers, and accountants to help guide it through its bankruptcy.

The company also received approval to eliminate leases on unused commercial properties, which include a warehouse and distribution facility in Antioch, Tenn., a Fredericksburg, Va., facility, and a building in Atkins, Va.
