Inventors Hall of Fame inducts Old Ironsides' builder

The National Inventors Hall of Fame has announced this year's class of inductees, which includes Matthias Baldwin (1795–1886), who built the historic Old Ironsides steam locomotive.

Old Ironsides could go as fast as 28 miles per hour and pull up to 30 tons. Baldwin's company, the Baldwin Locomotive Works, helped to establish the U.S.'s early railroad system.
