United American Sales appoints western regional sales manager

United American Sales Inc., a distributor of safety products, has appointed Jon Prior as western regional sales manager. He is responsible for the company's sales in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Before joining the company, Prior served as a territory sales manager for a manufacturer of hearing and respiratory protection equipment for industry and health care markets. He also was national sales manager for a California-based firm that provides face protection equipment for industrial, firefighting, and rescue personnel. His experience also includes other sales and customer service positions for firms selling to safety and firefighting professionals.

Prior has a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University.
