Universal Chemical Technologies names licensee
Universal Chemical Technologies (UCT), a Stuart, Fla.-based developer of engineered coatings, has announced that Hale Chrome Service has been granted a license for practicing the process of UCT's UltraCem™ family of metal finishing technologies. UltraCem is a fifth-generation electroless nickel boron coating. Hale has been in the chrome plating business since 1930.
UCT holds patents on several multifunctional coatings. The company currently has licensees throughout Europe and North America and plans to spread into Asia.
