Actuant acquires D.L. Ricci

Actuant Corp., Milwaukee, has completed the purchase of D.L. Ricci Corp., Red Wing., Minn.

Actuant consists of two groups of companies: Tools & Supplies and Engineered Solutions. D.L. Ricci is now managed as part of Hydratight, one of the businesses comprising the Tools & Supplies div. Hydratight is active in the power generation, petrochemical, and oil and gas markets, selling joint integrity systems to companies such as Vestus, Siemens, GE, BP, Shell, BJ Services, Technip, and Marathon.

Dino Ricci, president of D.L. Ricci, and his staff continue to operate out of its current location. As an OEM, the company creates tools that cut and bevel pipe, bore, grind, mill, turn journals, end-prep, and heat-treat.
