The Metal Shop installs new Mitsubishi laser

The Metal Shop LLC, a custom metal fabrication business in Crystal Lake, Ill., has installed a new Mitsubishi 3015 LVPLUS IIlaser with a 5- by 10-ft. table to replace its older Mitsubishi LVP215 machine.
According to The Metal Shop, the purchase of the new laser is in response to increased opportunities it has gained over the last year. The machine is expected to nearly double the company's output. The laser system joins a Mitsubishi Suprema waterjet machine already in operation.
