Maysteel expands production operations with Mexico plant

Allenton, Wis.-based Maysteel LLC, a manufacturer of precision sheet metal enclosures, is expanding its sheet metal fabrication operations with the addition of a new plant in Monterrey, Mexico.
The 50,000-sq.-ft. facility, which is expandable to 100,000 sq. ft., is expected to begin production in the first quarter of 2012 with 60 employees. The plant will be set up to provide sheet metal manufacturing and powder-coating capabilities for complex weldments, chassis, and enclosures for current and prospective customers in the region.
