Kestrel Aircraft to open two plants in Wisconsin

January 18, 2012

Kestrel Aircraft, Brunswick, Maine, has announced plans to construct two facilities in Superior, Wis., for the manufacture of its K-350 airplane.

The facilities — one to produce composite material for the planes and the other to assemble the planes — will create 600 jobs by 2016, the company estimates.
