Turkington USA to close plant in North Carolina

Two and a half years after renovating and establishing a 60,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing plant in Clayton, N.C., Turkington USA is closing the facility. The manufacturer of industrial ovens, mixers, and coolers will lay off 101 people.
The U.S. subsidiary of U.K.-based Turkington Industries moved to Clayton from Goldsboro, N.C., in 2009 after doing business there for 27 years.
