Dixie-Southern earns new certification

Dixie-Southern's Arkansas division in Springdale has achieved ASME Section VIII, Division 1 accreditation. This certification allows the facility to fabricate fired and unfired pressure vessels and certify them under the codes and standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Dixie-Southern's Florida fabrication facility also is certified to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and has received its Division 2, U2 certification, allowing for extended pressure vessel design and fabrication parameters beyond Division 1. This enables its engineers to assist in alternative design criteria.

The company specializes in oversized capabilities and overweight handling of steel pipe, pressure vessels, tanks, ducts and stacks.
