Nissan to move Murano production to Mississippi plant

Nissan North America has announced it is moving production of its Murano® crossover model to its Canton, Miss., facility.
The company currently employs more than 5,000 people at the Canton facility. Since its opening in 2003, the facility has grown from building one vehicle model to seven. The Murano will be the eighth vehicle built there, with production set to begin in 2014.
