Koester Metals announces plans to relocate to Indiana

Koester Metals, Inc. (KMI), a manufacturer of sheet metal fabrications and enclosures, has announced plans to relocate its headquarters from Defiance, Ohio, to Fremont, Ind., creating up to 44 new jobs by 2018.

The company will invest $2.7 million to move its headquarters and operations to its existing 130,000-sq.-ft. facility in Freemont. It also plans to relocate fabricating equipment from Ohio and update the facility's software and technology. Several long-term employees will make the move with the company.
