Acculloy Mfg. opens PerformaCoat division

Acculloy Mfg. Solutions has begun operations at PerformaCoat Inc., a new division performing advanced protective and lubricating coating services for oilfield tool, machined component, assembly, mold, and fabrications manufacturers in the Gulf Coast area.

The company reports that it has integrated manufacturing processes to eliminate unnecessary transfers among outsourcers, shipping costs, and vendor markups.

The new operation is housed in a 12,000-sq.-ft. facility in Houston featuring a large clean area, five ovens with up to 1,000-cu.-ft. capacity, two blast rooms with up to 400 sq. ft. of space, and phosphate tanks up to 12 ft. long.

PerformaCoat's services for the oil, petrochemical, and oilfield services industries include molybdenum disulfide (moly), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Xylan®, epoxy, zinc, nickel-manganese phosphating, dry-film lubricating, and gritblasting. The company specializes in applying thermosetting fluoropolymers, baked-on, and air-dried industrial coatings.
