DeVilbiss, Binks joins with Owens Community College to present spray finishing training

DeVilbiss, Binks, a spray finishing equipment manufacturer in Glendale Heights, Ill., and Owens Community College, Toledo, Ohio, have teamed up to present a Spray Finishing Technology Workshop, March 7-9, 2012, in Toledo.

The three-day, intensive training program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily and includes both classroom and hands-on sessions. Two Continuing Education Units are awarded. Attendees should be involved with industrial, contractor, or maintenance spray finishing applications, or spray equipment sales and distribution.

Topics will include:

• Equipment types and selection
• Equipment setup, operation, and maintenance
• Surface preparation and defect analysis
• Material selection
• Safety and regulatory concerns
