Abtex Corp. fills two management positions

Dresden, N.Y.-based Abtex Corp. has hired Lyell Adler as controller and Shirley Bendura as purchasing agent.

Adler, who oversees all financial operations and controls, worked previously at Mettler-Toledo High-Speed, where he held a similar position. He has more than two decades of financial experience in manufacturing. Adler has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a certified management accountant and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

In her new role, Bendura manages the procurement of all materials used in the manufacturing of the company’s deburring brushes. She is a former Abtex employee who spent the previous four years in a similar role with Z-Axis. Bendura has a degree from Harcum College.
