Acme Mfg. appoints president/CEO
Acme Mfg. Co., an Auburn Hills, Mich.-based manufacturer of integrated robotic automation for polishing, buffing, deburring, and grinding systems, has named G. A. “Fritz” Carlson III as president/CEO and majority shareholder.
Carlson, who joined the company in 1984, is the fourth-generation family member to become owner of the firm. He holds an executive MBA from the Advanced Management Program of Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University.
Glen Carlson Jr. has retired as chairman after 58 years of service and now holds the title of chairman emeritus.
