CGW hires application engineer - TheFabricator

CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels, Niles, Ill., has hired Rodney Neil Finch as application engineer. He is responsible for market growth in the vitrified product line and supports new and existing products in metal fabrication. He also will structure the application engineering department to improve support for CGW representatives and distributors.

Finch has more than 20 years of experience in the grinding industry. He previously worked as sales and grinding specialist with GTI Spindle Technology, where he was responsible for new grinding process technology with OEMs. He held application engineer positions and a product manager position with Saint-Gobain Abrasives (SGA) before that.

Finch attended the Detroit College of Business and is a graduate of SGA's level one and level two application engineering programs. In 2007 he earned the Application Engineering Entrepreneur Award for excellence in turning vision into profitable reality.
