IFH Group acquires Williams Powder Coating

The IFH Group Inc., Rock Falls, Ill., has acquired Williams Powder Coating of Prophetstown, Ill., and created a new division: Powder Coaters LLC.

With the new division, "we can fabricate, sandblast, and powder coat a wide range of vehicle chassis, large weldments such as tanks and trailers larger than 5 by 7 ft. square by 10 ft. long, and a wide variety of special products," said Keith Ellefsen, vice president of operations.

In addition to functioning as a vertically integrated member of The IFH Group's manufacturing operations, the new division will service powder coat customers on a national level. Types of products currently being processed include race car and other vehicle chassis, tanks, large and small weldments, motorcycle parts, and lawn furniture.
