Industrial Diamond Association of America to host superabrasives course Nov. 16-17

The Industrial Diamond Association of America Inc. will present its Superabrasive Materials, Principles and Applications course Nov. 16-17, 2016, at the YG-1 Advanced Manufacturing Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Through technical sessions and live demonstrations, attendees will learn about proper machining and grinding techniques, tool/wheel preparation, and properties of diamond and cubic boron nitride used to finish superalloys, high-silicon aluminum, metal matrix composites, carbon-carbon composites, bimetals, hardened steel, and stainless steel.
