International Paint names engineering account executive

International Paint LLC, Houston, a division of Akzo Nobel, has hired Bob Bernard as engineering account executive for the high-value infrastructure markets in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Bernard helps to direct the company's long-term efforts for developing brand awareness and growth of its coatings sales. He joins the company after serving as marketing specialist at Axim Concrete Technologies.

Bernard has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University and he is an active member of the Construction Specifications Institute as a construction documents technologist.

International Paint provides coatings for the oil, gas, chemical processing, power, rail, steel structure, mining, and marine industries.
