Jason Industries acquires Dronco GmbH
Richmond, Ind.-based Jason Industries Inc., parent company to a global family of manufacturers in the finishing, seating, automotive acoustics, and components markets, has acquired abrasives manufacturer Dronco GmbH.
Dronco becomes an integral part of Jason Finishing Group, a producer of technical and maintenance brushes, polishing tools, and compounds under the Osborn, JacksonLea, Lippert-Unipol, and Sealeze brands. Dronco’s products include cutting, grinding, and abrasive discs; diamond tools; ceramic abrasives; sandpapers; and technical brushes.
Jason intends to maintain Dronco’s Wunsiedel, Germany, site as the primary manufacturing and R&D center for bonded products. In addition to its Wunsiedel site, Dronco has subsidiaries in the U.K., Sweden, and France.
