Linetec appoints director of architectural and commercial sales

Linetec, Wausau, Wis., has named Jon Close as its director of architectural and commercial sales.

Close oversees the company's outside sales, inside sales, estimating, and marketing departments for its architectural and commercial business. Previously Close served as the company's regional sales manager for architectural sales, as well as commercial sales manager, identifying and developing finishing opportunities beyond architectural applications.

Before joining the company, Close worked in sales for a Michigan-based company in the automotive and commercial finishing industry.

Lintec is a paint and anodize finisher.
