Linetec expands capacity in Wisconsin

In response to customer growth and increased demand for finishing in the architectural metal products market, Linetec is expanding shift coverage and enhancing production flow to gain capacity at its paint facility in Wausau, Wis.

In the past year the firm has added nearly 100 employees. Before Jan. 1, 2017, the company plans to add at least 40 more jobs to its paint facility, including two supervisors and all levels of production associates.

Following the 180,000-sq.-ft. physical expansions completed last year, the company’s campus now spans more than 750,000 sq. ft. The company offers anodize, liquid paint, and powder coating finishes, as well as supplemental services such as thermal improvement, stretch forming, and inventory management of architectural metal products.
