Powder Coating Institute issues call for papers
The Powder Coating Institute, Montgomery, Texas, has issued a call for papers for its 2014 Powder Coating Show, scheduled for Sept. 16-18 in Indianapolis. The event attracts more than 1,200 attendees and provides more than 40 hours of presentations, with more than 100 exhibitors.
The Institute is seeking papers on a variety of powder coating topics, such as quality control, color change technologies, surface preparation, recovery, system troubleshooting, target markets, regulations, safety training, fire protection, oven curing options, testing and measurement, application techniques, manufacturing practices, sustainability, and benefits of using powder coatings versus alternatives. Topics should not be commercial in nature.
Speakers can register at www.powdercoating.org/speakers/submissions. The deadline for submissions is March 15. Accepted abstracts will be announced by March 30.
