PPG earns 2015 John Deere Partner-level supplier status

Pittsburgh-based PPG has announced its industrial coatings business has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2015 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence program. This status is Deere & Co.’s highest supplier rating.

The company supplies electrocoat, liquid and powder coatings, and pretreatment chemicals to John Deere’s global operations.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support, and wavelength (a measure of responsiveness).
