Vulcanium appoints sales director

Vulcanium Corp., Northbrook, Ill., has named Rick Piacenza as director of sales. He is responsible for managing and targeting sales efforts for both anodizing and plating systems.

Piacenza directs both inside and outside sales staffs and identifies attractive markets for company products and services. He is also charged with the development and training of solutions-driven sales and customer service, as well as the expansion of sales process improvements.

He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
