Davi earns highest quality degree from ThyssenKrupp

January 24, 2013

Following annual supplier evaluations, ThyssenKrupp has assigned an A rating, the highest supplier degree, to Davi, Dallas.

ThyssenKrupp purchased four Davi plate rolls in 10 years for its facility in South America. The company uses the machines, with 2.95-in.-thick capacity, to bend the antiabrasive steel XAR (Hardox) for production of special truck bodies used in copper mines.

According to Davi, the minimal maintenance needs of its permanent-lubrication plate roll, allowing Thyssen to satisfy intensive production planning, was one of the main factors leading to the quality degree assignment.
