Applied Manufacturing Technologies promotes engineering manager

Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a supplier of factory automation design, engineering, and process consulting services in Orion, Mich., has announced the appointment of Craig Salvalaggio as the new engineering manager for its General Industries Group. In this position, he is responsible for expanding the company's engineering and consulting services into the nonautomotive industries it supports, including aerospace, alternate energy, chemicals, food, and fabricated metals.

Salvalaggio has more than nine years of robotic experience. He previously served as engineering group leader, project manager, and robotics engineer with AMT. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Lake Superior State University, a master's degree in operations management, and an MBA.
