Simufact expands team with new head of R&D

Simufact Engineering GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, a provider of software and services for process simulation in manufacturing, has hired Dr. Ralph Bernhardt as its new head of research and development.
In this position, he drives strategic and long-term topics in the R&D area, focusing on alliances and cooperation with industry associations and science-based institutes, mainly universities. He also supervises the company's research activities and projects.
A graduate of TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Bernhardt has held various management positions for the past 15 years, mainly in the bulk metal forming industry.
