Bishop-Wisecarver hires VP of manufacturing

Bishop-Wisecarver Corp., Pittsburg, Calif., has hired Aldo DeAmicis as vice president of manufacturing. He has more than 20 years of manufacturing and leadership experience.

DeAmicis comes to the company from Tyco Electronics, where he worked as a plant manager and operations director. He began his career as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, worked his way through school, and later worked in upper management at various manufacturing corporations.

He has a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, an MBA in finance, a master's degree in law with a focus on intellectual property, and a juris doctorate. He is also a U.S. patent agent.

Bishop-Wisecarver Corp. manufactures, stocks, and distributes guided motion components and systems for linear, rotary, and curved track applications.
