General Sheet Metal Works names VP of manufacturing operations

General Sheet Metal Works, a provider of prototype-through-production metal fabricating in South Bend, Ind., has announced the promotion of Arthur D. Harrison to vice president of manufacturing operations. In his new role, he assumes responsibility for all of the company’s current and planned manufacturing operations, including oversight of its facility in Tomah, Wis.

Harrison was plant manager from 1998 until 2008, when he assumed responsibility for materials procurement and management. He has a degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
