Herr-Voss manufactures slitting line for Cascadia Metals

Herr-Voss Stamco is manufacturing a new slitting line for Cascadia Metals Ltd.’s Brandon, Manitoba, facility. The backbone of the line is the Strand Extensioner, which provides evenly rewound coils, levels slit material, and reduces burrs.

The line will process material with thicknesses from 0.012 to 0.25 in., with an incoming coil capacity of 50,000 lbs. by 72 in. wide. The slitting line also includes a quick-change injector slitter head system.
