Indalex honored as Good Corporate Citizen for environmental practices
The Indalex Inc. aluminum extrusion facility at City of Industry, Calif., has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition and been named a Good Corporate Citizen by the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County.
The company received the recognition award for being consistent in its compliance with all industrial wastewater discharge requirements during 2007. The company's City of Industry plant met its limits for wastewater discharge, was free from any notices of violation, maintained environmental equipment, and fulfilled all permit requirements.
