IPSCO appoints senior vice president/CFO

Avril brings more than 25 years of financial, treasury, and accounting management experience to the company. Before joining the company, she held the top senior finance position at a major, publicly traded print management company. Before that she served in various senior finance roles, including vice president finance and CFO during a 23-year career with Inland Steel Industries.

Located at the company's operational headquarters in Lisle, Ill., Avril earned her M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago and her B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois. She is actively involved in the Executives' Club of Chicago and the Chicago Financial Exchange.

Avril's appointment follows the retirement of Robert Ratliff, who served as CFO during his four years with the company.
