Kent Corp. starts up two heavy-gauge, large strip accumulators

Kent Corp., North Royalton, Ohio, a provider of coil handlers, end welders, accumulators, high-speed cold saws, and tube mill consumables, has commissioned two large horizontal accumulators for customers in the OCTG and structural steel industries.

The U.S.-built equipment, which handles coil up to 48 in. wide by 0.640 in. thick, gives the customers more storage to help them meet end weld times.
