Koike Aronson announces record-breaking equipment order

Koike Aronson Inc./Ransome, a manufacturer of welding positioners and cutting machines in Arcade, N.Y., has announced that it has received the biggest single order in its history: a $14 million sale to a company outside of the U.S.

The order is for Ransome vertical up welding machines a Ransome automatic girth welding machines, which will be used to make storage tanks. The company is scheduled to deliver 14 machines a month for nine months and 12 machines for one month. Koike expects to make four or five new hires at its plant as a result of the order.
