Rofin-Sinar Technologies, Plymouth, Mich., through its wholly owned subsidiary Corelase Oy, has acquired a block of buildings in Tampere, Finland. The acquisition of these facilities increases the manufacturing capacity for the company's fiber laser series.
The $5.3 million investment includes about 65,616 sq. ft. of land, 16,404 sq. ft. of floor space, and 2,624 sq. ft. of existing clean-room capacities.
The company designs, develops, engineers, and manufactures laser sources and laser-based systems.
