Arvite Technologies adds CO2 CNC laser capacity

To increase its laser cutting capacity, Arvite Technologies Inc., Erie, Pa., has added a TRUMPF 2030 TruLaser to its production line.

The machine allows the company to cut almost any shape, regardless of its complexity, with increased cutting speed and quality. The laser cutter can process steel up to 0.500 in. thick, stainless steel up to 0.250 in. thick, and aluminum up to 0.180 in. thick without distortion. It features a 5- by 10-ft. work area and uses an automated system that loads and unloads sheet material to help shorten production times.
