MG breaks ground on new addition

MG Systems & Welding Inc., Menomonee Falls, Wis., has begun construction of a two-floor addition to the area for its service and accounting departments, adding 4,334 sq. ft. of total space. The company plans to move accounting to the first floor, with the service department on the second.

The addition's primary purpose is to allow space for the growing service department—the added space expands service's area by more than 50 percent. Furnished with new equipment, the department's new location near the engineering and applications departments allows improved coordination of customer service, the company reports.

Construction is expected to continue until late August, with the service and accounting departments scheduled to move into the addition in September.

The company is a manufacturer of thermal cutting machines.
