Mitsubishi EDM/Laser hosts open house at Joe Gibbs Racing

Mitsubishi EDM/Laser, Wood Dale, Ill., sponsor to Joe Gibbs Racing, hosted an open house event May 10 at the JGR headquarters in North Carolina. Attendees were given a behind-the-scenes tour of the racing facility, product demonstrations, and a Mitsubishi Racing T-shirt.

J.D. Gibbs, JGR president, spoke to the crowd about his company's relationship with Mitsubishi and the manufacturer's role at JGR. CNC/Quality Control Manager Mark Bringle addressed technology advancements and the importance of turn-around time in NASCAR™.

The open house included machine demonstrations of all of the JGR's Mitsubishi equipment, including an FA20S Wire EDM, EA12V Sinker EDM, 2512HV-20CF Laser, and a small-hole EDM drill. More than 40 customers from the southeast attended the event.
