The Metal Shop adds fiber laser
The Metal Shop LLC, a custom metal fabricator in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., has installed a new Mitsubishi eX 6,000-W fiber laser. Added to the shop’s automation tower, the laser replaces a Mitsubishi LVPLUS II that had been in service for seven years.
The company fabricates not just parts but entire structures and complementary detail components used in such places as Wrigley Field, LAX, hotels, and museums.
