TRUMPF celebrates production of 100th laser resonator

TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn., has announced it has produced its 100th TCF 1 laser resonator, two years after the product's introduction. Originally intended for use on the TC L 2510 laser cutting machine, it now is utilized on the TC 3000 L combination machine and is sold for integration into assembly lines or mounting on robots.

The laser resonator has earned several awards, including a gold-level Innovation Prize as part of the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award program, and it was named one of the most innovative products at EuroBlech 2004 by the editors of MaschinenMarktmagazine, a German trade publication.
