TRUMPF Inc. names vice president, laser
Dr. Holger Schlueter has been appointed as vice president, laser for TRUMPF Inc., a subsidiary of the TRUMPF Group.
In this new role, Schlueter oversees all laser-related manufacturing, research,
and development at TRUMPF Inc. Laser Assembly Manager Steve Tower, Laser Development Manager Jochen Deile, and Laser Marking Systems Product Manager Peter Grollman will report directly to Schlueter.
Most recently, Schlueter was vice president and general manager of TRUMPF Photonics Inc., a manufacturer of high-power diode laser sources near Princeton, N.J. Before that he was director of laser production and development for TRUMPF Inc. and director of technology for TRUMPF Photonics. Schlueter has worked with high-power lasers for industrial applications since 1993 and holds several patents in the field of laser resonators and laser applications.
