TRUMPF opens technology and laser center in Silicon Valley

Laser system manufacturer TRUMPF has opened a new technology and laser center in Santa Clara, Calif. This location in Silicon Valley puts the application laboratory for laser processing, micro applications, and coating technology close to customers and partners from a variety of industries, in particular companies from the consumer electronics and e-mobility sectors.

The laboratory is equipped with continuous-wave lasers, short and ultrashort pulsed lasers, and beam sources and generators. It joins the company’s other U.S. application laboratories located in Detroit and Farmington, Conn. At these locations, the company examines customers’ individual requirements and ideas on-site to identify optimum processes and the right laser or generator for each application.
