Soutec Ltd. names general manager

Peter Winkler has been hired as general manager of Soutec Ltd./USA, Farmington Hills, Mich. Having worked previously for Mahle and Rich Technology Intl., Winkler has an engineering background and more than 15 years of leadership experience in business development and operations, including laser welding and cutting technologies.

Winkler succeeds Mathias Binder, who is returning with his family to Switzerland to take over the position of head of engineering and product management at Soutec AG in Neftenbach.
